The paper discusses the option of creating a Luneburg lens (LL) using 3D printing. The paper describes a method for manufacturing LL using a common dielectric PLA-plastic, which is used for three-dimensional prototyping. This approach allows you to automate the technological process of creating such antenna systems. Until recently, the production of antenna systems based on lenses remained technically challenging, but with the advent of 3D printers and the ability to print from materials that are stable in the used frequency range, it became possible to mass-produce complex spherical structures.
