Experimental research of voice transmission over digital power line carrier channels with VoIP technology

Abstract

This article is devoted to the experimental research of VoIP signals transmission over Digital Power Line Carrier channels. The experimental stand, allowing evaluation of VoIP signals transmission characteristics and header compression techniques performance are described. The results of the experiment confirm the need and appropriateness of using header compression while transmitting VoIP over Digital Power Line Carrier channels.
