Author Guidelines

The work should contain a title, a list of authors, a summary and the main text according to the standard scheme introduction - internal sections - list of references. The text of the introduction should present the material of the article in a form that is understandable to a reader who has only a general technical background in the relevant field. Material that requires special knowledge for its understanding should be placed in the internal sections of the work.

After receiving the article, the author is sent a response about receiving the article and either sending it for review, or refusing to publish because the scientific direction of the article does not correspond to any of the declared scientific specialties of the journal.

Upon receipt of a positive review of the work, the authors will be asked to make an original layout in MS Word or LaTeX2e in accordance with the instructions for authors.

In accordance with the requirements of the letter of the Ministry of Communications of Russia dated 02.10.2001 and Order 1/8 on Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics dated 01.31.2006, the authors must attach to the article an expert opinion on the possibility of its publication in the open press. The authors are also responsible for the choice of UDC for the article (a free consultation on the choice of U.D.C (Universal Decimal Classification) can be obtained at the library of the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics).

In the final version of the article, it will be necessary to provide the following additional information: UDC, resume, keywords, data about the authors (surname, name, patronymic, academic degree and title, place of work, position, phone, e-mail (optional)), and See also the title of the work, list of authors, summary and keywords in English.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
