Analysis of patent activity in the field of advanced radar technology in extra-long infrared wavelength range

Abstract

In this paper, the analysis of patent activity in the ultra-long infrared wavelengths in terms of advanced radar technology in accordance with the period of technology generation change (for the last 15 years) was carried out. It is shown that almost linear growth in the number of NATO, Japan, and China patents began in this period. This trend is not apparent in Russia as the number of Russian patents in this field is much less than the number of patents in the US, China, Japan and, the EU countries.
