A three-channel multi-standard PAL/NTSC mixed-signal video encoder IP core for digital TV and multimedia applications has been designed. The IP core has been manufactured using a standard 0.18 µm CMOS technology flow with analog options. In the second part of the paper, results of the IP core investigation are presented. A few chip scanning electron microscopy cross-sectional images are presented. Total power dissipation has been measured to be 89 mW. Measured DAC parameters show 10 bit 27 MHz performance. The measured integral nonlinearity and differential nonlinearity are ±0.7 LSB and ±0.35 LSB, respectively. This chip design can be used from digital to analog video encoding either separately, or as an IP core. Range of application of this integrated circuit is from consumer digital TV to a security applications and some special uses.

This article describes the architecture and capabilities of system for computer simulation of technical processes, called MTSS. This system allows to build simulation models for technicians themselves, having no experience in simulation technique. This is achieved by special architecture of simulation model. Simulation model in MTSS is built by visual connection of blocks. The blocks are simulation models of technological objects belonging to the technological system simulated. These blocks are created by specialists in computer simulation.

This article is about a steganalysis method of text data. It proposes a simple and effective approach to detect the presence of embedded information in text files. A message extracted from the text is checked for randomness by means of chi-square test. The method is based on the fact that message randomness reveals the presence of embedding.

In this article we develop and investigate the algorithm of coordinates estimation and navigating parameters of high-speed aerial target for short-range RLS on the basis of Kalman filter. Results of the research done with the help of simulation technique are discussed. The obtained results demonstrate algorithm's efficiency and allow to define its estimation accuracy.

Comparison of various types of modulation for UWB systems and simple calculation of energetic parameters of UWB system, range of its action and information transfer rate is carried out. All calculations are done for two types of state regulation activity of such communication systems - for the USA and Russia.
The obtained results allow to estimate the efficiency of different types of modulation, established by FCC and Radiofrequencies Committee.
