Modification of the signal-to-noise ratio estimation algorithm

Abstract

Modernization of a high-speed SNR algorithm according to complex counts of the received signal using it while estimating according to actual counts is considered. In this case the error in determining the ratio of the first and the second moments of the received counting distribution occurring when complex quantities are replaced by real ones is approximated by a polynomial of the third degree.
