The paper proposes an algorithmic method of accounting for regression modeling of complex objects of any nature, along with statistical expert information on changes in the significance of predictors in the background. The method of mixed estimation and the continuous form of the maximum consistency method are used as methods for calculating unknown parameters of the model. The first of them is based on a combination of the methods of smallest modules and anti-robust estimation, each of which "works" on "its own" subsample of the original data sample. The second one is designed to increase consistency in changing the calculated and set values of the dependent variable. The implementation of the joint use of
statistical and expert information in modeling for these methods is reduced to solving the corresponding linear programming problems. The proposed method is implemented in the construction of a linear regression model of patent activity in Russia
The article proposes and investigates a modification of the algorithm for selecting
multipoint relays (MPR) within the OLSR routing protocol, aimed at ensuring protection from
isolation attacks and increasing the accessibility of network nodes. Algorithm was implemented
on the basis of the NS-3 network simulator. An intruder model was proposed, an attack
simulation on the availability of nodes of a self-organizing network was performed, and an
experimental investigation of the developed algorithm was carried out. The results obtained
allowed us to confirm the effectiveness of the developed solution
methods. The developed models of a neural network based on an autoencoder are presented for automatic detection of anomalous amplitude changes based on the propagation data of VLF
radio waves on the JJI (Japan, 22.2 kHz) – Irkutsk (receiving point in Teploenergetik) path. After training, the neural network reconstructs the daily variation of the signal amplitude so that the output data closely matches the propagation under quiet conditions. Anomalous signal
changes associated with ionospheric disturbances during solar flares are detected by determining the reconstruction error and comparing it with a calculated threshold value. The threshold is determined by calculating the root mean square value of the reconstruction error of the training data set. The results of using the autoencoders proposed by the authors to search foranomalies have shown their effectiveness (the overall accuracy was close to 90%). An important advantage of the method is the ability to perform an assessment using data only for the measurement day in question, which eliminates the influence of anomalies present on neighboring days.
In 2016, the authors Araki T., Furukawa J., Lindell Y., Of A. and Ohara K. introduced a new information-theoretic protocol (and a computationally-secure variant) for secure three-party computation with an honest majority. The protocol has very minimal computation and communication. The authors did not provide a complete protocols. This paper provides complete protocols for secure multiparty computation.
The liquid lubricant moving in the gap inevitably contains atmospheric gases, which significantly affect such an operational property of the lubricant as compressibility. This study includes the development and analysis of a mathematical model of a micro-polar lubricant in a bearing with composite fluoroplastic coatings and a support profile adapted to specific friction conditions. Based on the equation of motion of the liquid lubricant under study, the continuity equation and the equation of state, new mathematical models are obtained that additionally take into account the compressibility of the lubricant. The possibilities of applying
in practice the mathematical models of the modified radial bearing structure obtained by the authors have been significantly expanded, taking into account new factors that make it possible to evaluate the performance characteristics of radial bearings. The modified design of the radial
sliding bearing made it possible to clarify, taking into account an additional factor – the compressibility of the lubricant, the bearing capacity by 8–10 %, and the coefficient of friction by 7–9 % in the range of the studied modes
Introduction: Poor visibility conditions images key features and ways of their improvement are briefly described. Main part: hardware implementation of poor visibility conditions images improvement method is presented. Results: hardware units utilized for image improvement methods are described; block diagram of hardware implementation includes video camera, display, random access memory and module set that is implemented with field programmable gate arrays; RTL-view and Verilog descriptions of hardware modules are presented.
The task before the developers was to create a geolocation system using Russian
manufacturer equipment, so that the error in location determination would not exceed 5 meters.
To implement a local positioning system, the pilot area for conducting experiments was defined,
a Wi-Fi test network was designed and built in the course of the work on the project. The signal
strength level at the input of the receiving device was chosen as a physical parameter, the
measurement of which is necessary to calculate the target object’s coordinates. A combined
location determitation algorithm based on the mechanisms of nearest access point, spatial
pattern differentiation and trilateration was developed. More than a thousand measurements
were carried out in the test network, and during that the main problems of the location system
were identified and ways to overcome them were proposed
